We aim to be a welcoming and inclusive church which can be a place of belonging for everyone. You can find details about how we aim to do this below.
Our aim is to be a place of belonging for everyone. This includes disabled people, regardless of whether your disability is visible or invisible.
We are registered as an inclusive church with Through the Roof and the Additional Needs Alliance.

-
There are two steps into the building, with a handrail. There is also a ramp, with a handrail, to access the building. Inside the building it is all on one level apart from the staging.
-
Due to lack of space, we only have one parking space for disabled people to use at the front of the church. However, any passenger who needs it may be dropped off at the front of the building prior to the car being parked.
-
We have wooden chairs in the church, which do not have arms. We also have a few chairs with arms. People can sit wherever suits them best.
-
We have an accessible toilet in the church building and another one in The Light House (our venue for children and young people).
-
We have copies of the Accessible Bible New Testament (NIrV translation).
-
We have a hearing aid induction loop for anyone who may require it.
-
Words for the songs and the Bible reading are projected onto the screen. Our Sunday morning services are live streamed via YouTube.
-
Communion is led from in front of the staging. During communion gluten free wafers and non-alcoholic wine are available. Communion can be brought to you if that is easier for you – just let a member of the team know when you arrive.
-
We welcome assistance dogs.
