St Saviour's Sunbury

Weekly Prayer Points (15th – 21st June)

Sunday 15th June

Pray for the St Saviour's family to make some time for church today. For the families to enjoy worshipping together.  For those on their own to feel God's presence as they worship in their own way. For everyone not to feel tired or depressed by the continuing situation.

Monday 16th June

Please pray for the Churchwardens as they meet with the Vicar candidates today. Please pray for consensus within the panel in their discernment of the right person for the role.

Tuesday 17th June

For everyone impacted by racism. Pray that God will change hearts, heal division and bring justice for the oppressed.

Wednesday 18th June

For our schools. As some children return to school and others are still homeschooling. For the teachers as they navigate this difficult time of teaching in new and different ways. For wisdom for the government around the correct time to reopen all schools and colleges.

Thursday 19th June

For our Community Foodbank as it continues to serve those in need in our local area.

Friday 20th June

For the decision makers and advisers in government who are making decisions about how to relax the lockdown arrangements.

Saturday 21st June

For all key workers who have worked without break for the last three months, managing challenging situations and at personal risk to their own health.
